THE PEOPLE BEHIND
PULL THROUGH

Heyo! I’m Christina, Owner and Operator of PTCB. I’ve been swimming along within the coffee world since high school. From slinging espresso at local coffee shops, managing big chain cafes around the United States, to gaining experience on the production line at a roastery, coffee has given me an outlet to create intricate yet comforting treats for people while also providing me with the sense of community I long for. When I’m not doing coffee things, I’m soaking up the sun, diving head first into the cycling/running community, surrounding myself with quirky people who help me grow by pushing me beyond my comfort zones, and learning sick tricks on my bike with my hoodrat friends (poorly but with relentless enthusiasm.)

Long story short, I came up with the idea to fuse together two worlds I love, coffee and bicycles, when I joined Dallas Bike Works‘ racing team back in late 2020.

In comes Boyd Wallace, Owner and Operator of Dallas Bike Works. He’s a long time competitive cyclist who pioneered his own racing team, loving husband and father, and a hell of a business man. He opened his doors to the public in 2006 before relocating the bike shop to it’s current home off the paths of White Rock Lake in 2010. When I pitched the idea of a coffee bar inside his bike shop, Boyd indulged me and we ran with it. Without him my dream simply would not be possible. Not only is Boyd’s shop the literal home-base for this creation, but he has provided me with the tools, construction team, tips and tricks of the trade from his almost two decades’ worth of experience in running a business, along with his personal office we took hammers and axes to in order to build PTCB in it’s place. Boyd is the foundation of my vision that we both have dedicated the last couple years to bring into fruition and I can’t wait to show it to you all!
